Join CCSWCD at the Germantown Library on May 11th to learn about worms! Join Pamela Price, Certified Wildlife Biologist as we examine the Invasive Asian Jumping Worm - a danger to forest health and red worms which can help our garden soils. Learn about identification of the invasive worms, their impact and what we can do. Then we will learn about how red worms can help us through Vermi-composting- using worms to recycle food scraps and other organic material into nutrient-rich worm compost you can use in your garden.
