A unifying essence, WATER is necessary to the survival of every living organism…has the capacity to be a universal bridge that connects our planet… and informs the very history and psyche of Saratoga Springs. On June 11, Speakers @ SPAC will begin with composer Kenneth Frazelle, who will discuss how composers have transfigured images of water in their works over the centuries. In addition to playing excerpts at the piano, Frazelle will offer insights into the inner flow of the compositional process, sharing water elements that appear both in his own music and from his lyrical landscape watercolors.
