Following a Carnegie Hall debut (2023) and a crowd-pleasing double concerto concert (May 2024), Westchester-based pianist and Ravel specialist, Kessa Mefford, offers another exceptional program. An elite octet of Taconic Opera’s mainstage lead singers will provide exciting vocal portion of some of the selections. It includes Ravel’s Miroirs, his longest piano solo, the Goose Suite for four-hand piano, selections from the Don Quichotte song cycle, and Trois Chansons, his only work for a cappella choir.
