A fellow at the Institute for Policy Studies in Washington, DC, Khury Petersen-Smith will lecture on empire, borders, militarization, and migration, as well as activism for a less militarized, less violent U.S. both within and beyond U.S. borders. Petersen-Smith researches and writes about U.S. policies regarding Palestine, Yemen, Turkey, and Iran. He is also active in the Movement for Black Lives.
