Kid Congo Powers

Front man Kid Congo Powers leads his Pink Monkey Birds to BSP Lounge this month in support of its third album, 2013's Haunted Heart. Raw, garagey, and doused in danceable go-go goodness, the band draws on early soul/R&B, '60s Chicano rock, and psychedelia.
