Kids will be taught hand-building techniques through making pinch pots, using coils and slabs, slipping and scoring attachments and stamping and carving. Each child will have a one to one supervised turn on the pottery wheel and will make a cylinder or a bowl. Students will also learn about underglazing and applying glaze as well as the ceramic process and vocabulary. Students will have a choice of several projects to make, all creations will be taken home after having been fired. Tools, materials, and firing included.
