For a glimpse of 18th century life at the time of the American Revolution, join the 1st Ulster Militia for a day in the life of a militiaman. Encampment from 10am-2pm. There will be a presentation at noon by Hank Yost who will talk about the events leading up to the Burning of Kingston: the progress of the war and how Kingston fit into the Burgoyne campaign, defense of the Hudson River waterway, and the events that occurred that day and its aftermath.
