Learn How to Snowshoe

Are you looking for a fun and healthy way to get your family outside, in winter, on snowy days? Then come join Minnewaska State Park Preserve Educators and test drive a pair of snowshoes. This education program offers your children the opportunity to try out snowshoes, learn how to use the bindings, and walk comfortably in them. After we get used to wearing the snowshoes, we’ll take a nature observation walk along the Rail Trail behind the Library.
