Letchworth: Anonymous Town

A photography project exhibit. Taking 2½ years to photograph, "Letchworth: Anonymous Town", a photography series of the state hospital for the "mentally and physically disabled" in Thiells NY was closed and abandoned in 1996. The residents were sent elsewhere, though every element of their lives was deserted and left in chaos. Vandals added their disturbing layer and in subsequent years, neglect would attach its impact.
