Re: “The Originals: Peekskill

I truly would love to go back and see my childhood town. I was only 15 a sophomore at Lakeland High. I was so mad at my parents for moving me all the way to California. Now 47 years later and only getting bad for 3 days when my uncle passed I would mostly love to see my family still there and all the places I remember so fondly. So many most likely gone but hearing the Paramont is still there warms my heart. I spent many Saturdays going to the movies saving my vast 50 cents to see not one but a double feature. Shopping at Beach Shopping Center, going to Bear Mountain Park. Visiting my Grandparents in Ossining, and going to work with my dad at Tarrytown Bowling Alley and West Point he was a civilian lineman supervisor on Post. Peekskill was great I was a GirlScout and marched in the parades watched the fireworks at the park I know I will spell wrong but it was DePue I think that was it. So many great memories. Glad to hear it's is doing so well.
