    Thank you! After the election I was most disturbed by how inaccurate the reporting was. It became so obvious that huge media outlets like the New York Times, my personal favorite, was pushing an agenda they very much hoped was a reality. And guess what? They were dead wrong.

    A couple of years ago I had to commit myself to the very thing you are describing here when I fell in love with a Republican. We had to have honest conversations about world views that I didn't understand until I met him. My father is a liberal, union organizer, Democratic atheist. My mother a Catholic independent who has actually only voted republican once. My brother and his wife, die hard libertarians who actually decided to vote for Trump because they live in Georgia and, because of the polls, were afraid Clinton was going to take Georgia.()

    I have grown so much as a person by laying down my own precious beliefs for five minutes and lent myself to imagining how each of these people in my life, who are so important to me, see the world. It has actually been wonderful to not have to condemn other people for being different than me. How impossibly arrogant to be otherwise.
