Millbrook Winery’s Summer Solstice Vineyard Dinner Lobster Bake!

Millbrook Vineyards & Winery, the Hudson River Valley's premier wine estate, will be holding their annual Summer Solstice Vineyard Dinner Lobster Bake on Saturday, June 18, from 7:30 pm to 10:00 pm.

Celebrate the longest day of the year with our annual Summer Solstice Lobster Bake. The evening will start at 7:30 pm with wine and hors d’oeuvres in the winery’s beautiful loft. Enjoy the sounds of live jazz music, while you soak in the beautiful views. Around 8:30 pm, the party moves to tables set in the vineyard, where you will dine among our Block Two East Cabernet Franc vines, while enjoying a delicious Lobster Bake buffet and a selection of our best Millbrook wines. This year’s event is being catered by Millbrook’s own Slammin’ Salmon. They have created a delicious buffet menu to be paired with several of Millbrook’s award-winning wines.

The fun doesn’t stop there! Fireball Run has selected Dutchess County as a featured destination in the series’ 10th Anniversary Season. Fireball Run tells the story of 40 teams as they compete in a legendary 2,000-mile, life-sized trivia game. To win, contestants take the road less traveled in an epic quest for America’s under-discovered places and historic artifacts, while aiding in a massive awareness campaign, The Race to Recover America’s Missing Children. Streamed online in the USA, and televised internationally, Fireball Run is a 26-episode adventure travel series, which educates and entertains viewers while inspiring travel.

Eight destinations are selected for series inclusion, based on economic vitality, quality of life, uniqueness, story content, and audience interest. Not a reality TV series, Fireball Run is factual entertainment, depicting real events and people. The 10th season, Fireball Run: Anniversary Edition, features several celebrity contestants. Cameras follow the real-life journey of 40 rally teams searching for amazing places and artifacts, Contestants are driven to compete to win for bragging rights, a greater cause, and a plastic road sign!

The live competition is from September 23 to October 1. Spectators are welcomed to meet the celebrity teams and take pictures with exotic vehicles when they stay overnight in Beacon on September 28th. Red carpet events are streamed live HERE
