Head back to the year 1969 and join your friends and neighbors on the lawn of the Outdoor Discovery Center, on Muser Drive across from 174 Angola Road, for a showing of the award winning “Apollo 11” documentary on the big screen under an open sky. Re-create the wonder of watching that historic event and powerful shared experience that helped to shape a generation. The lawn opens for seating at 7:30pm. At 8pm, enjoy a pre-film discussion about the moon landing and its deep scientific and cultural impact. The film begins at 8:30pm (Film length 133 minutes). Be sure to bring a blanket or lawn chairs.
