Museum of Language for Children and Adults

Kite’s Nest celebrates its opening exposition, an interactive museum of language for and by children in Hudson, NY. The event is the culmination of Alpha & Omega, a ten-week workshop in which children ages 6-12 have explored and experimented with the history of written language, the alphabet, and other secret codes. People of all ages are invited to come for the following activities and exhibitions, designed and implemented by the children of Alpha & Omega: printing with an old-fashioned letterpress, decoding hieroglyphs, drawing on glass, writing with light, paint-making, brush-making, and large-scale calligraphy.
