On tour from Brooklyn, My Gay Banjo, sing homespun gay-themed duets and queered-up mash-ups in a heart warming old time country style. Chris Garneau, a Brooklyn transplant to Hudson, combines elements of folk, Americana, pop, baroque, and carnival music. Local yarn spinner, Michael Truckpile will be making a long anticipated return accompanied by the luscious soundscapes of pedal steel guitarist Alan Macaluso. Truckpile’s songs dance over the boundaries of heartfelt folk ballads, wry country proclamations and gut-bucket rockers.
The show is being hosted by the New Paltz indie record label Team Love in their intimate Ravenhouse Gallery space.
