We will gather as winter begins, when the nights are long, and the moon is hidden from us. Together, we will share, create, sing, meditate, and find the light in the darkness. We are drawing inspiration from the Jewish traditions of Rosh Chodesh, the celebration of the new lunar month known as Tevet in Hebrew, and Chanukah, the Festival of Lights. People from all or no faith traditions are welcome. We will be making lanterns out of mason jars, bringing light into the darkness, and eating jelly doughnuts, a traditional Chanukah food. All women are welcome, whether cis or trans.
