Newburgh's Decora Set to Drop an Album a Month in 2019

Since he arrived on the scene as a member of the hip-hop collective ReadNex Poetry Squad, Newburgh rapper Decora has proved himself to be an unstoppable force of nature, both as an artist and as an activist and community organizer. For 2019, the tireless MC has seriously stepped it up and issued himself a mind-boggling new challenge: This year, he plans to perform “over 100 concerts across the world” and issue a new album every month.

I know. Crazy, right? There’s not much info yet on his website regarding tour dates, but as far as the latter task goes, he got off to a good start last month by dropping Better—his “first album of the year”—via the usual popular streaming services.

As you look forward to this month’s follow-up album, check out, “Outta My Own Way,” the lead track from Better:

Better is out now in digital format. For more information visit Decora's website.
