Horror films are famous for the use of sound in creating tension, suspense, and visceral effect. Michael Jackson and John Landis’ epic music-video collaboration Thriller will be shown in advance of Peter Strickland’s Berberian Sound Studio, which tells the story of a movie sound effects engineer who takes a mysterious job working on a horror film in Eastern Europe.
