Godfrey Reggio’s classic image-based documentary Koyaanisqatsi, featuring a score by Philip Glass, is the centerpiece of an evening of films that deal in sound without using words. Ephraim Asili’s Many Thousands Gone, Christian Marclay’s Fade to Slide, Lucy Raven’s The Deccan Trap, and Charles Atlas’ What does unstable time even mean? (shot at EMPAC in 2015) will also be shown.
