Orchestra 914 ¡Celebracion!

Orchestra 914 is pleased to present ¡Celebracion!, an afternoon of Latin-American Music. Orchestra 914, led by Music Director Russell Ger, will perform music by Latin- American composers including Carlos Gardel’s irresistible Por Una Cabeza (made famous in A Scent of a Woman) to Ginestera’s toe-tapping Estancia; from a Brazilian tribute to Bach by Villa-Lobos to the Argentinian king of tango, Piazzolla; and finally, to the roof raising energy of Mexican composter, Arturo Marquez.
