What does it mean for a gallerist to take on the legacy of an artist? How does this change when that artist is also their parent? Join us for an artist talk moderated by Ellen D'Arcy Simpson, featuring Carole Eisner, Jeremy K. Bullis and Susan Eley. The talk accompanies the current SEFA Hudson exhibition, fission / fusion, featuring works by Carole Eisner and David L. Bullis. Eisner and Eley will discuss Eisner’s paintings and the experience of taking on your mother’s artistic legacy. Bullis will speak about the experience of championing, and fabricating his late father’s art.
