Patchett Gallery: Liam Vogel, Expressive Realism

Liam Vogel is a fine artist working in a wide variety of mediums from classical acrylic, pastel, oil, to more unique mediums such as woodcut, and silverpoint. Liam loosely defines his artwork as “Expressionistic Realism” defined by a figurative approach to his subjects with an emphasis on the relationship between color and light. Currently, Liam works primarily in pastel and acrylic doing plein air landscape, classical still life, and alla prima portraiture.
