Perennial Divisions

Master Gardeners Judy Killmer and Chris Ferrero will present this Cornell Cooperative Extension Garden Program on Perennial Divisions. Dividing herbaceous perennials is a popular method of plant propagation. This talk explains the ‘why’ ‘when’ and ‘how’ for dividing perennials. In addition, you will learn about suggested tools you may want to use, how to plant your newly divided plants and finally how to care for your newly planted divisions.
