Pete Davidson and John Mulaney Add Second Kingston Show on Sunday

John Mulaney and Pete Davidson

It seems you can’t turn on the TV or open up the Google without bumping into Pete Davidson. Between his weekly work on “Saturday Night Live” and his glitzy Hollywood social life, the ha-larlious comedian is everywhere. And close behind is Davidson’s comedic comrade and “SNL” writer and actor John Mulaney, who presently has three specials on Netflix: “The Comeback Kid,” “New in Town,” and “Kid Gorgeous at Radio City.” And now these two young lords of laughter have united to bring the yuks upstate for a riotous evening of two shows this Sunday, February 10, at UPAC (Ulster Performing Arts Center) in Kingston—with a twist.

For the performance, the use of phones, cameras, or other recording devices will not be allowed. Audience members will instead be issued a special Yondr brand pouch in which to put their devices for the length of the show. Attendees guests will be able to hold onto the pouches, but will be unable to access their devices until they return to a Yondr unlocking station in the theater lobby. It certainly sounds like an interesting and noble concept, that of a technology-free event in 2019.

Here’s Johnson and Mulaney on “Saturday Night Live” earlier this year:

Pete Johnson and John Mulaney will perform at UPAC in Kingston, New York, on February 10. The 7pm show is sold out, but a 10pm show was just added. Tickets are $54. For more information, call (845) 339-6088 or visit https://www.bardavon.org/.
