Plastic Harvest

A collaborative work by Cassandra Saulter and Michelle Mercaldo. The two Hudson Valley artists will challenge gallery visitors to rethink terms they have long taken for granted, including “resource” “discard” “harvest” “family” and possibly even “art” itself. Using plastic as an “unnatural resource” they have sculpted female figures, art, furnishings and jewelry.
