Greg Frederick, a Brooklyn based artist whose portrait of Amy Winehouse is featured as Chronogram's June Parting Shot, recently joined the show to discuss his collection of portraits, mostly of iconic musicians, fashioned out of fragments of vinyl from LPs and 45s, paper sleeves and all.

Frederick, an avid music fan, started his Vinyl Pop Art series about three years ago. Listen in as he discusses the concept for the series and his process for creating the pieces. "Record Breaker," featuring selections from the series, will be on display at Orphic Gallery in Roxbury though June 30.

Click here to read more about Frederick's work, and to watch a film by Stephen Blauweiss of an interview with Frederick, and a tour of his exhibit at Orphic Gallery.
