"Podunk Pete" Author Talk with Peter Zimmerman

Join us for a talk and slideshow by Peter Zimmerman, aka "Podunk Pete." He will take us on an armchair traveler's journey through our country's obscure, out-of-the-way communities like Eggnog, Utah, and Negro Foot, Virginia, as depicted in his books "Tennessee Music: Its People and Places" and "Podunk: Ramblin' to America's Small Places in a Dilapidated Delta 88." Together with Peter, we will explore the music, history and landscape of the corners of our country where conventional tourists rarely stray, as well as the "battle between the call of the open road and the comforts of home."
