Poem: If I Could

If I could destroy my phone,
if I could have a little torture chamber
built only for my phone, like,
with one of those tables with
the wooden gears at the top,
and tie my phone to that table and
crank the lever until my phone
split in half but the two split pieces
were still connected by the wires
within the phone’s little body,
and then take the remaining body
and throw it into a pot of boiling oil...
I would.
