Poem: Navigating Through a Broken City

There are things I will and will not do,
Certain brothels I will not inhabit,
Certain dueling pistols I will not buy,
And certain houses in Amsterdam
Where I do hope to end up if
Everything else fails and
There’s nothing left but for me to go to that brothel that I
Do like where there’s
Hawaiian music, weed, a man in a derby,
And all sorts of other trifles.
