Poem: Time Out

Time Out

If I jump on the bed

I'm in big trouble.

Grandma's gonna give me a time out.

A bear on the bed who's jumping,

That's not me. I'm a poison frog.

And grandma's gonna give him a time out.

—Demetrios Michael Houtrides talking and singing to his grandma

(4 years old)
