Author Peter Christian Hall will present his novel "American Fever: A Tale of Romance & Pestilence" and discuss the perils of the Covid-19 coronavirus. "American Fever" tells of an East Village blogger selling masks, gloves, and goggles online during a devastating flu pandemic as an intriguing, vexing woman stalks him. When "Count Blogula" gets involved with local flu activists, he collides with a government bent on controlling Americans as if they were viral intruders. With Chinatown a smoky ruin, Atlanta evacuated, and Houston blown up, he must fight both the system and the contagion to save his life and love.
