Daniel, would you also end the 16 billion in direct subsidies going to the oil industry? How far back would you claw such support? For more than a hundred years? Solyndra was approximately 550 million of a 80 Billion dollar stimulus program. The benefits have far outweighed the one Off's like Solyndya. In order to measure what you are saying as fair and balanced you need to stop being so one sided by using one failure as an example that reveals problems for the entire industry. The green energy stimulus has been quite successful from many aspects such as downward price pressure and job creation. If your logic holds true, let's get rid of the funding for all 27 national labs, who, among other things, are mostly responsible for fracking technology as we know it today. Without stimulus the barriers to energy would be too great for any competitive technology or alternative.
