Commemorate the 231st Anniversary of the creation of the Badge of Military Merit, the inspiration for today’s Purple Heart. Program includes presentation of a Purple Heart award ceremony for a veteran from the Iraq conflict. Everyone is invited to be a witness and show support for our local veteran.
