Radical Resistance, Radical Joy: A Reflection on the Legacy of Black Life at Vassar

The yearlong celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Africana Studies Program will begin with a keynote address, delivered by Dr. Quincy Mills, Associate Professor of History; and Vassar student Abrianna Harris ’21. Dr. Mills and Ms. Harris will reflect on the evolution of the program, the state of black intellectual life, and the challenges and triumphs that have shaped the experiences of black students and faculty and continue to influence black life at Vassar.
