Reading by the winner of the Marilyn Swartz Seven ’69 Annual Playwriting Competition

Lily Bradfield ’22 has been awarded this prize in recognition of extraordinary writing of an original play, Blackboard, by the Marilyn Swartz Seven ’69 Annual Playwriting Competition Spring 2021 and the Drama Department. The play was directed by Drama Department alumna Estefania Fadul ’10. Blackboard synopsis: Sophie, the daughter of the dean of an exclusive all-girls private school, is just trying to survive eighth grade when her life is turned upside down.
