Reading the Landscape

This one-day field program will offer an introduction to ecological tracking and natural history. We will search for signs in the landscape of moving continents, glaciers, land use, indigenous and colonial cultures, and changes in forest composition across the decades and centuries. We will also look at present-day stories of the natural world, as told by wildlife track and sign.
