Ever wonder what life was like for the lightkeeper families who lived in the eight-room Hudson-Athens Lighthouse? Take a tour and find out! We’ll ferry you out to the 1874 Lighthouse in the middle of the Hudson River so you can learn all about it and enjoy the view! The Hudson-Athens Lighthouse Preservation Society (HALPS) owns the Lighthouse and hosts public tours on the second Saturday from July through October. The cost is $25 adults, $15 under 12. HALPS member tickets are $15 adults and $10 under 12.
