Richard Kimball and Rick Savage

Pianist/composer Richard Kimball and Trumpet player/educator Rick Savage perform a fund-raising concert. The performance features interpretations of some wonderful (but not well-known-in-the-US), Brazilian composers Kimball has worked with. In addition we'll hear some original works by Kimball and icons of the US jazz repertoire, Herbie Hancock and John Coltrane. The music just about “covers the spectrum” for well-rounded listeners, and it has a variety of rhythms and forms not always heard here.
