Hudson's Rick Warren has been very involved in improvisational and experimental music scene led by Karl Berger of the Creative Music Studio in Woodstock. Rick is known for his soundscape compositions using his guitar and a variety of electronic sound sources, each one a new and different creation.
Spaghetti Eastern Music (aka Saugerties' Sal Cataldi) dabbles in everything from exploratory fusion to folktronica. The New York Times says he "has a beat unmistakably his own," while Hudson Valley One calls it: “Part Sergio Leone fever dream, part Ravi Shankar raga, a whirling dervish of musical creation."
