Saugerties Farmers Market

The Saugerties Farmers Market is celebrating Fathers’ Day weekend with its annual Strawberry Fest 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Saturday, June 15. Satisfy everyone’s sweet tooth with chocolate-dipped strawberries from this week’s chef demo by Rae Stang, owner of Lucky Chocolates. For the first time this season, Jane’s ice cream will be available. Vendors will offer their usual array of vegetables, and prepared food for breakfast and lunch. For children, Saugerties Art Lab will help them create tissue collage animals and plants. The summer market is open every Saturday through October 19 at 115 Main St., across from Cahill Elementary School.
