School Garden Volunteer Day

The Webutuck School Garden was started by NECC students five years ago, and now has nearly 30 beds that grow produce for the school cafeteria and provide learning opportunities for students of all ages. High school students harvest the produce and donate it to three area food pantries and our Summer Food Service Program all summer long. To get the garden going for the season, we invite volunteers to join us to clean out the beds, mulch the pathways, fill the beds with topsoil and sow the first season's crops.
