Secret Sounds of Ponds

Three sessions are available at 11am, 12:30p & 2pm, and each session approximately 45-60 minutes in length. The ponds of the Nature Museum are full of mysterious underwater sounds, but you need a magic wand called a hydrophone to hear what’s down there. Then you can play along and make music with the strange creatures of the deep. Who wants to try? Join musician David Rothenberg as he turns the sounds of the Nature Museum’s ponds into a symphony! The Secret Sound of Ponds aims to connect people to the hidden life of freshwater environments through sound. This program is recommended for adults, and families with teens and children ages 6 and up.
