Sensory Hours allow families with young children with autism and other sensory integration challenges to explore MHCM exhibits in a modified environment with reduced sound, designated quiet spaces, extra visual signage and sensory aids. Preregistration is required. Sensory Hours are for young children ages 0-8 as MHCM gallery spaces and exhibits are designed for little kid bodies. Sensory Hours are presented in partnership with the Anderson Center for Autism and the Dutchess County “ThinkDIFFERENTLY” Initiative, and are made possible with support from Stewart’s Shops.
