SINGER-SONGWRITER JODY SAMASCOTT TO PERFORMAT VALATIE ARTISAN FAIR

A soulful singer-songwriter from upstate New York, Jody’s original songs and commanding vocal style have been compared to Alicia Keys and Mariah Carey. In addition to her original songs and lyrics, Samascott's repertoire includes R&B songs from the likes of Otis Redding and Smokey Robinson, while she also adds her own twist to the pop hits of today. Jody currently resides in her hometown of Kinderhook, NY, where she helps on her family’s farm between musical sets.
