Six Ways to Clay covers six ceramics forming techniques in six weeks: pinching, coiling, throwing, trimming, and assembling thrown and handbuilt parts together. Each class begins with a demonstration of the techniques of the week and ends with guided practice. All projects will be finished at the end of the session by dipping, pouring, brushing, or sponging on layers of glazes and underglazes. Students are welcome to work at their own skill level and pace.
