Speed Bumps on a Dirt Road - Book Release and Concert

The book release of John Cohen's "Speed Bumps on a Dirt Road: When old time music met blue grass," will be celebrated with a concert featuring John Cohen and The Down Hill Strugglers, with special guest Little Nora Brown. Publication of Speed Bumps is timed to coincide with Ken Burns' new TV Series "Country Music," which features forty-nine of John Cohen's photographs and films. The Strugglers with John Cohen recently performed at the Newport Folk Festival. Little Nora Brown, now 13, was featured in a short documentary called “Little Nora (the Banjo Prodigy)” and opened this Spring’s Brooklyn Folk Fest.
