With Mike Schiavone, NYSDEC Biologist. Wild turkeys were once extirpated from NY, but were restored to the landscape and are a great conservation success story. After reaching historic highs, their numbers have declined over the past decade. Come learn what DEC biologists are doing to track this popular game bird, including insights from research and how it influences management.
