Sukkot Morning Minyan in Sukkah

During the fall harvest holiday of Sukkot at Congregation Emanuel we build and decorate our large and inclusive Sukkah (hut/booth) and “dwell” together with song, dance, study, and shared meals. Festival services are held in the sukkah, where congregants experience waving lulav and etrog. In keeping with the spirit of the holiday, we’ve established an annual Sukkat Shalom, welcoming neighbors of all religions for a festive interfaith gathering in the sukkah.
