The Book of Israela with Rena Blumenthal

In conjunction with Inquiring Minds, Rena Blumenthal will present her debut novel The Book of Israela at Elting Library. The novel tells the story of Kobi Benami, a middle-aged psychologist whose life is in shambles. As Kobi becomes ensnared in a surrealt encounter with the anthropomorphized story of ancient Israel, he is forced to confront his own life and the endless war that rages around him. Blumental is a freelance rabbi based in New Paltz.
