The Deep Six for the Day of the Dead

Six writers go six feet deep for this second annual Day of the Dead event: genre-spanning readings and performances on death and dying, followed by a parade to the cemetery where everyone is invited to honor, grieve, and celebrate the dead. You may bring flowers, photos, or small objects of remembrance for an altar. Proceeds will benefit The Circle of Friends for the Dying, a local 501(c)(3) not-for-profit whose mission is to bring compassionate, competent end-of-life care to the dying and their families.
